Do I need an account to use it?
Yes, you need to create a free account to use Simply Upscale. Signing up is quick and easy with our passwordless authentication — just enter your email and you're in. Every new account comes with 10 free credits to get you started, no credit card required.
What image formats are supported?
Simply Upscale supports PNG, JPG, and WebP image formats. Free users can upload images up to 10MB in size, while premium subscribers can upload images up to 30MB.

Pricing & Credits
Is Simply Upscale free to use?
Yes! Every new account receives 10 free credits to try the service. Each upscale operation uses credits based on the complexity of the job. When you run out of free credits, you can subscribe to a premium plan or purchase a one-time credit top-up.
What do I get with a premium subscription?
Premium subscribers receive 500 credits per month, the ability to upload images up to 30MB, unlimited secure cloud storage, an ad-free experience, priority processing, private image storage, and early access to new features.
Can I buy credits without a subscription?
Yes. We offer a one-time Credit Top-up option where you can purchase 500 credits for $4. These credits do not expire and can be used at any time.
How does the yearly plan compare to monthly?
The Yearly Premium plan is $49/year, which works out to about $4.08/month — effectively giving you 2 months free compared to the Monthly Premium plan at $4.99/month. Both plans include the same full set of premium features.
Billing & Refunds
How are payments processed?
All payments are processed securely through Stripe, a leading payment processor. We never store your credit card details on our servers — only a customer identifier and subscription status for account management purposes.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to all premium features until the end of your current billing period. No further charges will be made after cancellation.
What is the refund policy?
We do not offer refunds for any reason. We encourage you to try the service with your free credits before subscribing to make sure it meets your needs. You can also cancel your subscription at any time to avoid future charges.
Can I expense Simply Upscale with my company?
Yes. Depending on your company's policy, after purchasing a subscription or credit top-up, you will receive a receipt from Stripe via email that you can use for company expense claims or reimbursement purposes.
Privacy & Data
What happens to my uploaded images?
Your images are securely stored in our cloud environment and transmitted to our AI provider solely for the purpose of upscaling. You retain all rights to your content. We never share, sell, or publicly display your images.
Is my data used to train AI models?
No. Your uploaded images and upscaled results are not used to train any AI models. They are processed exclusively to deliver your upscaled image and are then stored according to our retention policy.
How long are my images stored?
For free-tier users, both original and upscaled images are automatically and permanently deleted from our servers after 14 days. Premium subscribers enjoy unlimited secure cloud storage for the duration of their active subscription.
